Do you love to craft? Do you wish you could get paid for it? We are looking for enthusiastic people who can inspire creativity in others but has the patience to teach adults (and possibly kids). Our instructors will be responsible for creating an atmosphere of excitement, in a friendly, classroom like environment.
We are looking for local crafters who can teach the following:
- Silhouette Cameo 2- beginner to advanced classes
- Silhouette Cameo 3- beginner to advanced classes
- Silhouette software classes
- Cricut Explorer- beginner and advanced classes
- Bow making
- Pallet art and wood sign making
- Wreaths
- Jewelry making
- AND MORE
If you are local and have a crafting talent for something that is not listed- APPLY! We are open to other classes. We are also open to someone who wants to teach kids crafting classes
Job Title: Class Instructor
Job Location: Parma, Ohio 44130
Job Type: Part-time
Work Schedule: Evenings and/or weekends, possible holidays. This is subject to change.
Work Conditions: This work is performed inside a classroom like setting. We may do demonstrations at craft shows and fairs.
Physical Effort: Minimal physical effort is required. Work conditions require no physical strain or risk.
Educational Requirements: Minimum- High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college, art and/or craft classes preferred.
Experience: No beginners please. Minimum- 2 years of arts and/or craft experience.
Responsibilities:
- Teach specific and detailed classes to a target audience within a specific amount of time.
- Class Instructors must be able to follow a guided curriculum and are more than welcome to help create that curriculum.
- Recruit crafters to class and promote merchandise during classes.
Qualifications:
- Upbeat, friendly, approachable personality
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with a group of people but still be able to answer questions quickly and efficiently.
- An above average knowledge of your specific craft
- Ability to create, manage, and stick to a timeline for class
